So now it appears that we owe about $2000-$3000 “a month” (really for the year due in May of the following year for something around $3.5M in stated various assets. What funny is that when I ask this on the FB groups, no one says anything or appears to be paying anything similar. When I talk to regulated UT State entities they all say they pay it (previously accounted by the State and passed to the County, but this year accounted by the County itself). Tax rate for our city is around .0098 in previous years and this year is down to like .0078 for some reason.
