Had 6 lines burning 24/7 for several years.  But I worked got the telco.  There was an arbitrage so we actually got paid to haul in connectivity this way to a rural exchange.

Ha,  I remember those days,  I had a few dial lines linked in multilink ppp on 24/7,   the isp didn’t like me much but it was 24/7 so I used it!  so much cheaper than ISDN

 

Already had the lines into my moms house from the BBS days.
