Just learned about plus codes as a replacement for geocodes. They are using them to give addresses to Navajo dwellings. Pretty clever idea to condense a geocode to 6 alpha numeric chars. (10 if there is no nearby community name)
Based on a base 20 numbering scheme. I wonder if this is better than zip _4? It is shorter by 3 characters.
