I like the fox pee better than the human pee. I'd probably have a labor
complaint if I asked a linesman to climb up there and dump a trucker bomb on
the pole.

Aha, maybe coyote pee? Or this:

We used to have a customer with a “fur farm” next door. But it turned out to
actually be a “urine farm”. I have questions, but I don’t really want to know
the answers.

How about a stern scolding? We tried that on a bear who sharpened its claws on
a utility pole containing some cabling. Also, we moved our cabling. I think it
was the scolding that worked really though.

This riser has been eaten 3 times now. That's a brand new 2" HDPE and some
creature ate through it and then attacked the cable.

We're switching the conduit to galvanized, but I'm also wondering if there's a
chemical deterrent of some sort we can spray on the cable & pole. Is there?
