Think of all the spectrum freed up when people switch from 5G Home Internet to fiber or LEO! It's Musk and Bezos who will need more spectrum.
But the mobile guys live and die by how much spectrum they own. Valuable assets in the view of Wall Street, even if they just sit on them. "My precious."
