Door to door people are selling the heck out of rooftop solar and "community
solar" here. Somone on a FB group pointed out they saved more money by
switching to an hourly or time-of-day plan with ComEd, and running high power
appliances when the price is low. I think they send emails or text messages
when the price drops and you can charge your EV or dry clothes or switch on the
electric heat or whatever it is people run during off peak to save money.
Maybe the grow lights for the weed in your spare bedroom?

In Utah most get their power from Rocky Mountain Power. If you dont have a
grid tie agreement and meter, the meter will measure excess production and bill
you for it Sent from my iPhone
