For a number of years now, our company logo has featured a cable with a glowing 
8P8C RJ-45 connector.  It's on the website, the business cards, t-shirts, etc.  
Marketing recently refreshed all the graphics, and they didn't change glowing 
ethernet cable.  Why didn't they use the opportunity to change it to an SC 
connector?  Surely someone has told them by now.....

There have been technical strides in hollow core fiber that not only has lower 
loss than regular fiber, but also doesn't have the fiber latency penalty. HFT 
guys will quickly get that stuff into conduits on the trading corridors, once 
it's available.

Yeah these are the same people that don’t realize high $$ traders don’t use 
fiber but microwave from the DCs, in the end starlink has lower latency in most 
cases and will be amazing when they finish the network
