My nephew was getting involved with an antifa cell in chicago. middle class poor, lazy and expects success with no personal investment (hes since grown, but thats the space he was in) He was getting more and more militant, then one day he wa sup at one of the protests, got separated from the group and started live streaming, intial tone was tough, intifada, whatever but as he wandered into more dangerous areas of the protest he got more fearful in his tone, ended up being chased by unknowns. After that he put down his toys and never spoke of it again. I think he realized the weakness of it all when he wasnt protected by the group. His tone changed, hes actually trying to be somebody now through work. Its amazing how the tone changes as you earn your way through life. I think he never went beyond fringe, hes the patsy type, so had he gotten very far into the group (i know, i know, there isnt any antifa, its just an ideology) he would have been used pretty quick to commit the crime and go down for it.
The malleability of definitions is why this is so touchy When words had definitions it was easy to delineate, but now the squeaky nitwits say "Antifa is anti fascism" Its not. its authoritarian control through subterfuge and violence. but the feeble mind will say "If youre against antifa, youre pro fascism" Nah fam, Im against shitbags who are too cowardly to say what they actually are You can trade a nazis dick for the dick of one of those guys who throws tires around peoples necks and burns them, either way you still have a bad guys dick in your mouth, even if you call it a lolipop.
