Basic Youtube is $83/month, but they have a cornu-TV-copia of add-ons
that looks (to me) like it could add another $100/month depending on how
TV-dependent you are.

But people want live TV and sports. It used to be there was sticker

less than I’m paying now. Looking at their website, a bundle of Hulu

something like $83.
People must love their sports. Otherwise, I don’t know what they
watch. I watch one show on Paramount and 2 on Hulu, don’t watch live
TV any more, no sports. That must just be me, because other people
obviously are streaming many hours per day. At the cost of streaming
sports, I could see going to a sports bar, paying for pizza and beer
and watching their TV.

I think I started with netflix for like 3.99 a month. that was back
when its bulk programming was good and you could order a dvd. i
recently moved down from the 27 or whatever it was to the ad version.
Id rather watch ads than the handful of new content thats worth
watching a month. I think theyre a higher percent foreign films now
too. Its a shame hollywood has shit the bed because these foreign
films are beating them in quality often now. I just wish I could watch
them and do something else instead of reading subtitles.
I think the threshold is in the 15-19 dollar range where the
visibility returns. That 2 opens eyes

I keep getting customers telling me they are switching to

When did satellite TV get so expensive? I figured they must
have 4 receivers and getting every sports and premium channel
available. But looking at their website, it seems like prices
start around $100/mo.
Is it just inflation? Or the addons for sports and additional
receivers? Or people don’t play the game any more of switching
every 2 years between DISH and DirecTV to get the promo price?
$200 seems like a lot. I keep warning them they’ll have to
pay more for Internet and probably $90 to $100 for streaming
packages, but they don’t care if their reference point is $200.
