If there are no violent protesters, then there is no issue to be concerned
about with the national guard being there anyway.

Night before last at the ice center in illinois they confiscated an IED and
gun from one of the peaceful protesters on ICE property (restricted carry
location), probably peaceful bullets in that "weapon of war"
