Sounds like a match.

I, for one, am not interested in buying a WISP. My current employer
(Greenlight Networks) is building infrastructure in Maryland. I was curious if
there were about to be some unemployed WISP people looking for work because we
happen to have some jobs listed in Maryland.

This is almost certainly Towerstream's Maryland network, as their
coverage map lines up perfectly with this description.

If any of you are looking at this, be careful. We are most of the way
through a nearly $40M State-funded FTTH project to build the rural areas
that are the heart of their Carroll County footprint. Pretty much the
only customers that are sticking with them and not moving to our fiber
are the ones that are getting free service to host a tower/microPOP site.

Shentel Glo Fiber is doing the same thing in Frederick County. Comcast
has State funds to build NW Baltimore County with HFC. I would expect
that both of them are also finding similar success with their rural
builds. All three of us have grant deadlines of 9/1/26, so I would
expect Towerstream to have very few customers left at that point.

I'm not sure I'd want this network, even if they were to give it away
for free. If any of you are brave enough to take this on, reach out to
me if you need connectivity. We have a dark fiber ring to Ashburn, so
we can provide any capacity upstream/backhaul that would be needed to
separate this market from the rest of Towerstream's network.
