My brothers are down the alt-right rabbit hole. One more than the other. He posts some insane crap on social media, and he's definitely further to the right than he used to be. I've met one or two people who are truly "the left" in scare quotes. Like so anti-racist that they've gone full circle and become incredibly racist via a reincarnation of "The White Man's Burden". But most real people in real life just don't seem all that invested in any of this stuff....right or left.
Peter Pan woke? I don't know man. In the original book there's a discussion about what happens to Lost Boys who get too old. I believe the phrase used is that Peter "thins them out", without really specifying what that means. In other words, Peter is a Nazi, but one who's system is based on age rather than ethnicity. He has absolute authority over a perfectly unified society and uses the threat from out groups (pirates and Indians) to maintain control. Those who don't fit within his society are "thinned out". You can interpret "thinning out" multiple ways, but the boys don't come back, so it's definitely a final solution.
