There are 11,000 FBI employees in the capital region. I don't know how many of
those are Special Agents, but I do know that about 1/3 of their overall staff
nationwide are Special Agents.

I'd wager they could deploy a few hundred personnel in DC with a phone call.

Having 274 agents “on hand” is not something that just happens without planning
and logistics. Having them at the ready for “crowd control” also means they
were not given the go ahead to enforce laws that they saw being broken.
Moreover the capitol police would have been the primary crowd control authority
I would think.

I am guessing someone was trying to curry favor to obtain plumb position with
the Biden admin.

I was a bit surprised to learn there something like 256 FBI agents embedded in
the J6 crowd of protestors-rioters-free speech
advocates-insurgents-patriots-rebels. If such crimes were being committed, why
didn’t they act?

The j6 investigation was such a clown show nothing surprises me.

A self defense homicide is just that, assuming Utah must have provisions that
allow for self defense croaking, even for shitbags.

In all likelihood, dude is a confidential informant. That explains a lot,
especially if youre a fed snitch on anything high profile, like turning in a
proud boy, you can get a boatload of crime slack. The phone call network is
strong for keeping snitches out of lockup.

He probably got picked up now because whoevers asset he was got shitccanned in
the clearing of the corrupt fed. His contact number probably rings busy or no
longer in service.

I never have liked snitches getting out of unrelated crimes, but its what it
is. Back when I was in the dope game we had a couple guys who seemed to get
popped with a lot of different substances and charges magically got dropped.
One in particular got busted multiple times with serious weight on cannabis,
hallucinogens and X. Never did time, but he was a club kid and slung at raves.

We all just assumed he was building cases federally on the club circuit.

Snitching is its own cottage industry and shitbags reign supreme.

Saw this in the local news or maybe heard it on the radio, I forget. When they
mention Utah or Salt Lake City, I think of Chuck and this group.

But this news story is just strange and sad. Apparently this guy has ties to
both Chicago and Utah, and he was arrested here on a warrant from Utah.
Reading the current and past news reports, I can’t point to any of the usual
suspects like the left, the right, immigrants, Venezuelan gangs,
narcoterrorists, antifa, MAGA, etc. Maybe drugs, alcohol and homelessness.
Bottom line, he seems like just a terrible human being. Maybe he’s better when
he isn’t drunk and high, but if so, he must be drunk and high a lot.

The fact that he shot a gun at the storming of the capitol on 1/6/21 seems
almost incidental to his other misdeeds. I thought it was going to be a story
about a Jan. 6 rioter who was pardoned and went on to get into trouble again
but no it’s not that. It seems he was never arrested or tried for that
incident. He’s been in plenty of trouble before and after though. Including
stabbing a guy to death in a SLC park in an argument over $150. And the Utah
warrant wasn’t for Jan. 6, it was for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated
sexual assault.

I think Steve is the group’s expert on drugs and alcohol, right? Also bad
dudes. Maybe he will have some wisdom.
