One would have thought he would have been smarter. Parsed, he had a point on part of it. But Kirk got shot for saying things that required you to hear the whole argument to grasp his point. Many would just hear a cherrypicked phrase or two and draw incorrect inferences.

During a February 2023 livestream, Adams discussed a Rasmussen
Reports poll about the phrase "It's OK to be white". He noted that
a significant percentage of Black respondents disagreed with or
were unsure about the statement. Based on this, Adams
characterized Black Americans as a "hate group" and recommended
that white people distance themselves from them. Adams later
claimed his remarks were "hyperbole" and out of context, stating
he was advising against associating with groups that lack respect
for individuals.
Consequences and Fallout
His comments resulted in significant professional repercussions:
Newspapers Dropped Dilbert: Numerous newspapers across the U.S.,
including major publications, stopped publishing the comic strip.
Syndicator Ended Relationship: Andrews McMeel Universal, the
company distributing Dilbert, terminated its partnership with
Adams, citing a conflict with their values.
Publisher Canceled Book: His publisher, Portfolio, canceled his
upcoming book and removed his previous titles.
Adams continued to self-publish the comic online as "Dilbert
Reborn" and maintained his livestreaming until his death in
January 2026.

I don’t recall what got him
cancelled. I just remember thinking: Boy that was stupid
of him.
He was a good one for certain.
