What if any surge protector are people using between a SyncPipe Basic and a
SyncInjector?
What about a 444APC? Pins 4/5 and 7/8 are connected together, and it has
power LEDs, that sounds problematic. Although it would be convenient if
everything else at the site is using those. How about a GigEAPC-HV?
And what about putting dielectric grease in the jacks? I'm worried about
grain dust and corn "red dog" getting stuck in it, on the other hand it
might help with condensation. I have one job box with a rack oriented so
all the jacks are pointing up, I don't think I'll do that again, in fact I'm
not too happy with the whole job box approach.
