We have been using some Greenpacket units as replacements for PMP320 units in the field. However, some of my technicians have voiced a concern with the Greenpacket radios causing issues on Windows 8 machines. Essentially they explain to me that after configuring the unit with the initial IP address change, from that point forward every time the unit power cycles, they have to repair the Winsock on their laptop to regain access to the unit. This is a scenario that is only happening on Windows 8 systems. Has anyone else used GP radios enough to have experience with this issue.
