Not really. For example, all my radios are now M but there was a time up until
recently where I was stuck with APs in 5.7-5.8GHz because I still had some
clients. Eventually those radios either die off or get swapped into areas
where legacy is okay. But it was much cheaper and more leisurely transition
with no downtime. What if that had been Vivato where they just disappeared
one day or bugs in firmware never got fixed (again, Vivato).

*nods* Was just hoping to get a bunch of free awesomesauce.

Yeah, but by having interoperable gear, I miss out on optimal gear.

See, if you followed my advice, you wouldn’t have to forklift your network J

That’s correct Mike, final beta units are eminent, we’re anticipating folks
that ordered through our Early Adopter Program will ship by late next month.

We’ve been building factory production run, so we expect that people that
ordered through distribution and new orders should go out near mid-December.

I think beta guys are shipping soon if they haven't already and EAP
guys are next month?

When I talked to their sales dude about two and a half months ago, I
was told that first shipments were expected at the end of September. That
didn't happen.

Can someone from Mimosa please provide a new, revised schedule for
customer shipments of B5 connectorized radios? I know you're watching the
list...
