More true than not Jeff. I probably have had a beer on just a couple occasions in 2014. Kinda been there …done that.. looooong time ago. With this group of guys though, I certainly would enjoy a couple ☺
In regards to the non-profit donation, suggestion… Actually, I am tentatively set to go back to Haiti with World Orphans in February. I am donating approximately 20 of these trumpets to a Music/Worship ministry school I was at last year, for young adults and going to give lessons for a few days (among other things on the trip). A friend of mine designed them and they play amazing.... hard to believe. I am bringing 10 trombones also. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJaecGseM4U So, if anyone wants to donate they can as they cost me about $ 90 each (50% of what they sell for in the US). They could Paypal me at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> . I don’t have a 501c3 or whatever its called, so I cant offer any document for taxes for it as World Orphans are not officially sponsoring it at this point. I am kinda excited about helping these guys get instruments and training. Its amazing. These people have almost nothing, but they take pride in whatever we have provided. Very humbling. Thanks for the plug Jeff, LOL ☺ From: Af [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jeff Broadwick - Lists via Af Sent: Wednesday, December 31, 2014 1:50 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Restating the AFMUG List change process Knowing Paul, he'd probably prefer that you make a donation to one of the non-profit organizations he supports. I know he took a missions/aid trip to Haiti not too long ago. From: Paul McCall via Af<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, December 31, 2014 6:06 AM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [AFMUG] Restating the AFMUG List change process Friday is the day that we have scheduled to actually “flip the switch” to running off the different header format. Sorry if that was confusing. Step 1 - get as many people pre-Amazon Authorized as possible. We sent out the Amazon Verification email yesterday. My understanding is that it is only good for 24 hours. So, after that 24 period ends today, we will send another one out to those that haven’t gotten authorized, at the end of today. That is a manual process on our end, so we will do it just the one last time. Step 2 - Friday (before noon EST) we will flip the switch. The header format will change after that time. We will monitor it to make sure everything is doing what it is supposed to. Un-Verified subscribers of the list will still be able to read the list, but not send to the list. If they want to generate the Amazon verification email because perhaps they missed the timing on the emails sent this week, they can send an email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>, get OFF the list, and re-subscribe ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> ) then they will get the Amazon verification email and then the AFMUG verification email. The person who generates the most complaints to the process on the list is required to my all my beer at AFMUG. ☺ Paul McCall, Pres.
