Got 4 pairs of 450's in the air with no problems. The only real issue I had
getting them to work was when we put the first pair up, I had to disable the
5.4 scan channels on the slave before it would register on the 5.8 channel it
was set to. It would see the BHM at --55 but never connect though it tried 50+
times before we figured out what took care of it. No problem with the other 3
doing that though.
Been very happy with them and getting ready to deploy at least 6 more pair in
the near future.

Subject: Re: [AFMUG] PTP230 talk to a PTP450?

My 230's are running the firmware they were born with 10.3.something IIRC. Had
issues with a bench test on one of the newer builds, decided the field units
were working good enough and walked away.

I guess on that note, this is a good time as any to ask how people are finding
the ptp450's to run?

Sure would be nice if the problems with the PTP230 would be fixed.
Seems like all our links that run in 3X mode drop in and out with
short session uptimes. Lock them at lower bandwidth of 2X and there
solid even though link tests are always 99+ percent at 3X. Seems to
be an issue with changing modulation rates. Rather then just change
from 3X to 2X it drops the connection I am guessing. Hopefully the
PTP450 does not have same issue?
