I cant see that go pro would have fully sponsored an illegal climb then publicized it. Reality is if these are experienced base jumpers with a really big release of liability, its a win for the tower owner. Its more of a risk to have an inexperienced climber on the tower than an experienced base jumper. That being said the other day a base jumper got killed jumping off a tower, I wonder if this video was a catalyst for a novice to go imitate it.
