OK, just looked at it again. There's no way in hell that would work with
the current enclosure dimensions, not even if it was deeper.
All we're using now is the GigESS-HV since it's universal. If it
wouldn't be too much more to change the enclosure and do the feed-thru
glands, then I'd be happy to pay a bit extra for it.
Would anybody else want that??

They do make larger boxes. Not sure if the market would bear the cost

Chuck,
I like the compact size of the outdoor SS units. But.. the single entry
boot is a PITA. You have to bend an "offset" in the cables to get them
into the ports. Not so easy when you have cold, stiff cable.
It would be nice if there were feed-thru glands directly below each
port. And the size that will accommodate a cable with an RJ-45 already
on it. I've looked at doing this myself.. for about 5 seconds, then I
got busy, but I seem to recall that the enclosure wasn't deep enough.
Maybe Primex makes a similar dimension but deeper?
The TWR box would be WAY overkill for a single SS.

The circuit is as beefy. And we do have the TWR larger unit.
Is it the metal case you like?

Suppressor
Product request: Please make something as beefy as the $195
Transtector surge suppressor with a metal enclosure that is like a
king size version of the GIGESS-HV...
