I attended several DAS seminars and one training class last week. Under
new rules, you must get permission from carrier to "re-boost" their
frequencies. I installed an Axell multi-band Digi-Mini (offf air
repeater) for Sonic Ranch recording studio with a dual band Yagi on top of
tower above Pecan trees and ran 1/2 inch to amp (120 ft.) then we used
Axell couplers/dividers to string out 12 antennas inside studios, editing
rooms and living areas with two for patios and swimming pools. Used
LMR-400 for these. All major carriers came in much better and I used
built in programmable filters to block out nearby Mexican carriers. The
folks that sold the gear to client took care of permits....took longer for
AT&T to approve from what I heard. I quoted install in October and ended
installing round April if memory serves me about two years ago. You can
contact Pat Swan and get the latest on rules and equipment. his contact
info is [email protected] or if you hav
