Good evening all,

I'm currently in Sierra Leone working on a network engineering contract as part of the international Ebola response. We are improving the reliability and speed of Internet connections for numerous NGOs which are helping the country recover from the Ebola crisis. Here's a few URLs about what we're doing:

At the moment I am "up country" in the city of Bo and will be returning to Freetown in a few days.

If you are interested in helping out in any way, either with a donation of resources, equipment or anything else, please get in touch with me. I will put you in contact with the right people. There are some very good public relations opportunities for organizations that make a meaningful contribution to the recovery of Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea from the Ebola crisis.

Over the next several weeks I will post a selection of notable and unusual photos from Sierra Leont to the afmug list. Please let me know if the volume of photos or file sizes become excessive.

It's 10:00 PM here at the moment (GMT time zone in West Africa), but if anyone wants to contact me directly, my local mobile phone numbers are below. This will be the first time I'm including my "full" email sig in a post to afmug in the last few months. There's two different phones on both of the local GSM carriers. It costs about 35-40 cents a minute to call here.
