Global warming causes temperature changes in different geographic areas.

We have had snow three times here in Homer Alaska, but most of the winter has been very mild. While the central US and east/south have been "frozen", its been in the 40s here.

This was the warmest average winter in Alaska on record, and globally the highest recorded average temp / year on record for 2014.
