Confirmation Bias... Once you pick a religion, political party or brand of car, you immediately become an evangelist for the brand. Otherwise self doubt and buyers remorse could make you look like a fool...

But I do love the Leaf. The interior is a bit on the cheap side but it is my favorite car. Light to handle, very quiet, lots of acceleration and you get to wave at the gas stations as you pass them by.

Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Tesla

We have several friends with Teslas (both the original roadster and the
model S). The roadster was somewhat of a curiosity, and I think they are
great, if a bit eclectic.

However, every one we know with an S claims it is the best car they have
ever owned. I don't know if it's vanity, or what, but they sure do like
their S.

I personally think it's just a bit too soon to buy an electric car. In
the next couple of years I expect some major movement in battery technology.

They wanted to call the new one the E model. Not sure who shot it down
but someone did.

Oh I'd take a Model S in a heartbeat. But I can't afford to drop $100k+ on one. A Model 3 is more likely.
