GEPro is also great to import spreadsheets so you can populate the map with
placemarks. Much easier than GE.

I'm a long-time Radio Mobile user and have learned most the quirks and fiddly
things that need to be done to make coverage maps, run batches, convert maps
into vectors, etc. But, for quick "let's see what this site looks like," I
now go to Google Earth Pro.

Earth Pro is now free, just use the license key "GEPFREE." There are a lot
of new features in Pro that I've just barely begun to use, but my favorite so
far is the viewshed function. Put a placemark where you want to put your
tower. Edit the height (meters above ground level) for the placemark.
Then right click it, and hit "Show Viewshed."

If your area is well-mapped, Earth will take trees, buildings, etc. into
account when creating the viewshed. See the attached image for an
example.

wisp.heywhatsthat.com its free. Check the setting for tree coverage and its
pretty accurate. Far more than towercoverage.com in my opinion.
