Yeah, any new product is dead to me until it has those bands. Coming in the future doesn’t cut it. Even if you intend to operate in upper 5 GHz, typically you need the flexibility to operate in 5150 and DFS for testing/commissioning/transitioning.
And “trust me, it will be unlocked in future FW once we get approval” doesn’t cut it. I fell for that years ago with the Trango backhaul that ended up needing a hardware change to pass DFS.
