Honestly it's highly unlikely the inflight infotainment system is tied to the flight computer other than they share the same power source.
The FBI just doesn't want anyone tampering with ANYTHING to do with commercial aviation. Seems like WIRED could have done some better reporting by digging into Boeing and Airbus to see if those systems even communicate in any way (which I highly doubt) Of course good journalism doesn't always sell as many magazines as sensationally imbellished journalism does. You can always back peddle AFTER you've made your money. 2 cents Sean On Saturday, May 16, 2015, Rory Conaway <[email protected]> wrote: > > http://www.wired.com/2015/05/feds-say-banned-researcher-commandeered-plane/ > > > > *Rory Conaway **• Triad Wireless •** CEO* > > *4226 S. 37th Street • Phoenix • AZ 85040* > > *602-426-0542* > > *[email protected] > <javascript:_e(%7B%7D,'cvml','[email protected]');>* > > *www.triadwireless.net <http://www.triadwireless.net/>* > > > > *“That which can be destroyed by the truth, should be.” – P.C.
