We had a similar sounding issue with Grandstream ATAs. An incoming call
waiting call would mute the outbound audio. The next ring would un-mute
it. There was some setting that the guys changed, maybe it was a DTMF
thing, I don't remember exactly. I'm sure you could try disabling call
waiting and it would do the same thing... if that's the problem anyway.
