Depends what pigtails you use. Most pigtails are a lot smaller cable, the difference in loss is going to be negligible... I think we're running 18" LMR-240, which should be about 0.3db of loss and a 6' LMR-400 should be about 0.6db. I generally find it to be easier work with pigtails, but if it's already installed that probably doesn't matter at this point.
