We've had a few do that when the gateway was put in correctly. Just refused to 
accept it. The tech put the gateway in the Rocket, saved, everything else 
worked but the gateway was still set 0.0.0.0 in the cfg file.

I did exactly as you said, set it by CLI and got it going. Took two tries 
though. First time I saved changes, logged into the GUI, saved and reboot, lost 
it again.

I just upload a backup to 99% of my UBNT equipment and I've never run into this 
on my network, only seen it on one I consult for, but I've seen it a few times 
now.
