I can't speak for OSPF, but I've had issues with 6.29. I also bricked an RB750
when I downgraded to 6.20 and had to netinstall.

Subject: [AFMUG] Mikrotik connection issues with OSPF IP blocks

  Hey guys,

I'm absolutely stumped with a new problem that I'm finally reaching out to
the lists here for help. So I'll sum up what I'm doing and what problems I'm
seeing.

  Tower A RB1100ahx2 - AC-Lite - AC-Lite - Tower B RB1100ahx2 or RB2011

There is OSPF with point-to-point between and that is working fine with no
issues. The adjacency is fine and doesn't flap like OSPF does.

What I'm seeing is attached in the picture where pinging from the router to
the internet is fine with no packetloss but pinging from a laptop assigned a
private IP from that router's IP block, I see a few packets go then nothing and
so on.

When looking in the Routes section of OSPF on our core router and Tower A's
router, I see the two private IP blocks in the table, then they disappear for
10 seconds and reappear and this coincides with the Request Time Out in the
ping from my laptop.

So basically, the customer IP blocks I have setup in the router and have them
advertise out to the rest of the network, they are in the routing table but
then disappear for 10 seconds and come back for 10 seconds roughly. While this
happens, OSPF adjacency does not falter so it's not exactly OSPF flapping if
the OSPF connection stays up but it just fails to advertise our two IP blocks
for 10 seconds at a time.

Clocks are synced on the routers and the only thing different is Tower A
router is 6.4 routeros and new one is 6.29

OSPF is otherwise configured identical between the routers and IP information
is set correctly. I've tried this with 3 routers so far (2 1100's and 1 RB2011)
and the behavior is exactly the same.

Any ideas? I've setup OSPF on dozens of routers without issue and I'm doing
this from scratch, not a config file and I'm comparing it to multiple other
tower routers to verify validity.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you
