Initially we were seeing the breakers trip a lot on the 320 Sync
Injectors. Power cycling resets the breaker.....you can do it remotely
if you have the site monitor.
We also had an Eltek Valere rectifier powering a 320 and we would blow
fuses on that rectifier port every time there was a thunderstorm.
I have two solutions that both worked in the past:
1) CMM4
2) Standalone Power Supply (no sync)
There are places where the 320 on the Sync Injector has run for a few
years with no issues at all. The breaker/fuse popping thing happened
over and over at the same places.
*Looking to get some feedback to see if I am the only one having these
issues*
We have more problems with 320 injectors than anything else in the
network, other than ePMPs blowing (on 100 series injectors)
Sometimes, the SyncInjectors just need Power cycling.
Often, we will lose ports, or the ports stop passing sync.
We have a bunch to send it for repair when we get them all gathered
up. We replaced 3 in the last two weeks that had bad ports. These
units had only been in service 30 days or less.
Our power source is a Meanwell RSD-200B-48, with a 3A fuse between the
power and the 320 injector. We are running (2) 3630APS only off the
Injector. We are running the Beehive 430-APC-HV protectors on the AP.
We are generally not losing the 430-APC-HV, nor the AP, just the
injectors.
Again, on other 320 locations, we find us having to reboot them
frequently. There will be No Link on the Mikrotik until we reboot them.
Any thoughts on either of these issues? I emailed Forrest, but
assume hes too busy to respond right now.
