I'd run away from doing that... at least for Cisco product. There is so much fake stuff coming out of China with Cisco branding ... seen quite a bit of it first hand and the fakes are very hard to tell the difference short term.
I have a friend who deals in this marketplace at noticeable scale. Have been buying personally through his company for years and rarely have had a problem - hit me offline if you want a contact. He has warehouses in Canada and US. He is also quite competitive .... Does anyone have experience buying this kind of equipment from China? (Not talking about new equipment which may be grey/black market goods or knockoffs.) Is this stuff that was actually taken out of service in China? Sent there for recycling? I'm a little skeptical, but on the other hand, I suspect when I buy from a US seller that he may have just bought a bunch from China and is flipping them. Also, what kind of hassles are there with shipping, customs, duties, etc?
