Also, my limited experience with Sentinel connectors is to use their crimp tool or at least a high quality one, or you could bend the contacts instead of driving them straight down.

Also another quality brand is Stewart, they make L-Com's modular plugs. In the past I have used this somewhat unique shielded plug, it requires a special crimp tool for the ferrule. I stopped using it because Belden 1300a is a little too large overall diameter to fit without a struggle.

What is everyone using for shielded and unshielded cat-5 connectors and where are you getting them? We currently use mostly EZ which are very expensive. For anyone else using EZ what is the cheapest source you have found for them?
