If it's somehow combined with the reset button, then it might actually work. The reset button only resets when you power up (it has to be pressed during the power on sequence to actually "reset"). So if you push it after it's operational, it might really do WPS.

Which brings up the question about how to disable it....

Mikrotik data sheet on the hAP seems to say it has WPS feature, but it looks to be combined with the reset button. Maybe depending on how long you push it? What could go wrong with that? Does the printer not offer a way to enter the WiFi password, if not directly on the printer, maybe first connect a computer via USB? Many times the manual will first give you the way to do it with WPS, but then the alternate way to enter the password, and people don’t read past “push the button on your router”.

It's called WPS. MT doesn't have it and others shouldn't have it.

we have a new customer who called in this morning trying
to connect to his wireless printer. Looking for a button
on the router to make it transmit. I assume he's looking
for a "one touch config" type deal. Assuming mikrotik does
not support this? What to do?
