If it's somehow combined with the reset button, then it might actually
work. The reset button only resets when you power up (it has to be
pressed during the power on sequence to actually "reset"). So if you
push it after it's operational, it might really do WPS.
Which brings up the question about how to disable it....

Does the printer not offer a way to enter the WiFi password, if not
directly on the printer, maybe first connect a computer via USB? Many
times the manual will first give you the way to do it with WPS, but
then the alternate way to enter the password, and people don’t read
past “push the button on your router”.

Doesn't the new mikrotik hap have a wps button? I hate them and
disable it where I can as well.
