If you watch our podcasts, rarely (ever?) do they contain a single topic, unless that topic is live coverage of an event (MUM, WISPA, etc.).

Don't get me wrong, not saying anything negative about Mikrotik... Just saying there is very little value to me, in hearing about the beta test results of a product that is not in the market (general availability) running an Operating System which is also yet to be released.. Yes, it is supposed to jump over the moon and fly around the world in a single leap... Cure World Hunger and Bring Peace on Earth.. :) Once the product is released and both the hardware and the ROS is in general availability status... all of the features will end up speaking for themselves.... Stay busy... do something productive... :) Faisal Imtiaz Snappy Internet & Telecom 7266 SW 48 Street Miami, FL 33155 Tel: 305 663 5518 x 232 Help-desk: (305)663-5518 Option 2 or Email: [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Hammett" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, August 13, 2015 10:34:32 PM Subject: Re: [AFMUG] CCR 72 core We've been trying to get a podcast scheduled to talk about the 1072 (among other things), but everyone's been busy. One of the Andrews beta tested it and has been released to talk about his testing. If only everyone wasn't so busy. ----- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions http://www.ics-il.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Faisal Imtiaz" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, August 13, 2015 9:19:36 PM Subject: Re: [AFMUG] CCR 72 core do a bit of googleing and you will find the 'Review' for the CCR1072 if you go thru it, you will also notice that it was tested with ROS v7 So.. it is what it is with the current ROS 6.x limitations on process and cores.. This behavior is expected to change with ROS 7.x :) Faisal Imtiaz Snappy Internet & Telecom 7266 SW 48 Street Miami, FL 33155 Tel: 305 663 5518 x 232 Help-desk: (305)663-5518 Option 2 or Email: [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Adam Moffett" <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Sent: Thursday, August 13, 2015 9:20:48 PM > Subject: [AFMUG] CCR 72 core > > http://routerboard.com/CCR1072-1G-8Splus > > I keep hearing about various things that are single threaded in > RouterOS, but they seem to like adding lots of cores. > > Is there a definitive list somewhere of what processes can take > advantage of multiple cores? > > >
