You do NOT want to go 5 miles (8.04km) with a Bridgewave GE80 or FP80 link
even in a desert...  Rain storms will take it out. +18 Tx power into a
52dBi gain 60cm dish tuned with 71-86GHz is as much power can you can get
on the Tx side. It will work right until the first medium sized rain and
then drop.

80 GHz is a wonderful thing and perfect for rooftop-to-rooftop links in a
metro area, it's not so great for rural distances.
