An error on the vector. Sorry, too easy to pass up. Vector Error: The vector error measurement compares the received signal's In phase / Quadrature (IQ) modulation characteristics to an ideal signal to determine the composite error vector magnitude. The results are stored in a histogram and expressed in dB and presented as: max, mean, min and latest. The expected range for Vector Error would be approximately 0dB (NLOS link operating at sensitivity limit on BPSK ½) to –29dB (short LOS link running 64QAM 7/8)
That's straight from Motorola PTP 400 Series User Manual Page 73 that I found by searching Google for "PTP400 Vector Error." Hope that helps. -Ty On Wed, Oct 14, 2015 at 2:07 PM, Dan Petermann <[email protected]> wrote: > What does vector error indicate? >
