I kept dicking around with it, I assume it was a chrome problem,  but
eventually if I lowered the radio height the scale would expand and make
the link look like its on the ground. then moving it up in one meter
increments every other meter was obstructed, it is possible there were 1
meter weather balloons every other meter the day the satellite went over
