AirOS 8 has to be on the AC radio and you have to set the mode to Access Point Mixed Mode.

AirOS 6 has to be on the M radio.

AC5 to M5 works, I’ve got a few customers with M gear connected to my AC access points. It’s still beta though, so if you try it, keep an eye on latency and packet loss, and open tickets on the forums if you run into something weird.
