I had one of the 5 GHz omnis hit by lightning that popped the top off, so I got a look at the innards. Surprisingly little in there for the size and price. It would be interesting to see inside the dual frequency model.
It would also be interesting to see inside one of the Alpha Antennas omnis to see if they have more impressive guts.
