Most 100Ah front-terminal telecom batteries will fit 4 of them (barely) on a 19” rackmount shelf but I did have trouble with some brand of battery shelf specifically for that still not fitting so be careful and be prepared to send it back if it doesn’t work. Probably easier if you have a 4 post rack or cabinet, then any shelf that can hold that much weight should be good. I was putting it in a relay rack which is probably not the best idea in the world. If you have a 23 inch rack, I think the 170 Ah telecom batteries fit.
Do you have room to put the batteries on the floor next to or behind the rack? I’ve done that, you can buy fairly cheap molded plastic battery boxes if you want to enclose them. I have some that hold 2 x 8D AGM batteries, there are sizes for Group 27/31 batteries.
