All sorts of full ODU radios are in use in Edmonton, AB which can see -35C in winter. Radios keep themselves warm enough, I see more failures in the middle of summer. Despite high temperature ratings a radio can get pretty toasty internally in eastern WA when temperatures hit 40C in direct sunlight in July/August.
