Most of the time, we have an 8' step, a 4' step, and a 20' extension. Occasionally, if we need the extra reach we will load a 34' extension, but it is a BEAST. So it typically stays out back waiting for someone to lug it.

Hey guys,

What ladders are you carrying for your install vehicle if you have a ladder rack capable of holding to ladders?

We're looking at a 28' extension ladder for one of them and 12' step ladder on the other side.

If you do something different, let me know what your preferred method is and why. Is 28' ladder (14' collapsed) too long for a Transit Connect or Promaster City size van or would you stick with a 24' ladder?

Thanks
