Bus kid, first on, last off. About a 90 minute ride. Once it got stuck in the snow. Driver had me and one other kid walk a couple of miles through snow through a field to a farm house to get help. Driver stayed with the bus and the handful of kids. School principle showed up about an hour later with a pickup to get the bus unstuck. He gave the two of us a day off of school. That was a good day indeed.
I don’t think you would see a couple of 11 year olds get sent for help now-a-days.
