Funny, "A la prima..se le arima..." lead to a discussion about laws respecting
marrying a cousin. In this state you can marry your first cousin if both are
55 and one of you are sterile or if you are both over 65 (I was told by one of
my kids, I didn’t look it up). Other states allow first cousins to marry I
think. Others don’t. (Alabama does...)

But now that gays can marry, I wonder if gay cousins are going protest in the
states that prohibit marriage?

If you want to find out all the famous people you are related to, you can

You have to get an account on familysearch.org but it is free to use.

I set up my wife in her own group and then had it figure out if we were
related. Yep, 13th cousin once removed...
Lots of European royalty here and famous people. I have about 1984 people on
my list but more than have of them are LDS related. The program was created at
BYU so it does have an LDS focus.

But if you want to find out how many kings of England are your direct
ancestors, this is the place to go.

I wasn’t thrilled to see Obama as a cousin, but Thomas Edison is OK to be on
my list. As is Samuel Morse and Philo Farnsworth.
Lucille Ball, Humphrey Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda.

On the family search site you can even print a pedigree chart showing you in
graphical format how you are related to these people.
