I think this is the official kit:
https://www.streakwave.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=ACATHS-01

It only shows the headphones, which I throw away preferring to use an amplified
speaker, but I believe it still comes with the Best-Tronics made adapter cable.
Which I like because it has a long frame plug which is easy to insert and
remove. Although I did finally buy some of those plugs and the crip die for
making timing cables. But the one time I tried to solder a Radio Shack mini
headphone plug onto a cable to repair it, the process was very frustrating, so
you may not want to make your own cable.

I have no problem buying it, just wondering if someone sold only the headphone
adapter without the Earbuds and default plug that I don't need. It just took
me a while to figure out the google string to find that adapter.

Oh hell, if you need that just buy it. It's only $16 and has everything you
need. Don't waste time and money trying to make one, unless you put $0/hr value
on your time.

This is what I remember getting before

I didn't think they were that expensive though.

I didn't see it on the PDMNet website, I emailed them to ask. I"m
pretty sure that although Monoprice has everything else, including completely
outfitting your elementary school band, they don't have these adapters.

SurplusWirelessGear and maybe PDMNet sell them ready to go, I
believe.

Does anybody sell the RJ14 to Headphone jack premade at a
reasonable price, <$10? I used to have a pile of them, but I Can't find them
now, and I'm too lazy to go get the components to make one.

I think once upon a time, someone was selling a default plug
and headphone adapter in a combo pack.
