I don’t think so, that’s a Gemtek radio, the QTS appear to be made by KZ Tech, and Mercury says they have control of the software. Of course who knows what commonality of chipsets and hardware/software design is under the hood in all these Chinese made radios. The Greenpacket radios we were using were just generic Greenpacket, no customization for Purewave. I will say the QTS is the first WiMAX radio I have logged into that had anything like a normal GUI that hinted a service provider or end user had any input into the design. It’s still fairly dumb in bridge mode though.

The GUI is much improved over the Greenpacket radios we had been using, and it has LEDs for alignment on the back (not that such low gain antennas need much alignment). You can get a terminated cable through the gland, I think with the Greenpackets we had to put the cable through the gland and then terminate them. There might be some advantages along the lines of full 2x2 MIMO upstream, I haven't fully researched that, the Mercury guys haven't led me to believe the performance will be greatly different. I'm not familiar with the Cambium software, so I can't compare to that. -----Original Message----- From: Stefan Englhardt Sent: Thursday, December 31, 2015 4:15 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Belkin AC1750DB router leaking LAN to WAN? Oh, and the Mercury CPE is pretty nice, except I miss the diecast articulating mount. It appears to be made by KZ Broadband Technologies. How do they compare to PMP320SM? We've still WiMAX running but aren't very happy. -- If you only see yourself as part of the team but you don't see your team as part of yourself you have already failed as part of the team.
