The 3.65 Nanobridges worked fine, in my experience... it was the 900 ones (which looked just the same, but do have a different arm for the radio) that were almost completely worthless.
I don't think there is any difference between the 3.65 NanoBridge radios and NanoStations, other than the the firmware says it's a Nanobridge... the antenna settings may be locked too... I'm not sure about that. I have used NanoStation M365's with KPP dishes and it seems to work every bit as well as the 3.65 NanoBridges. I'm not sure if it's technically legal though... I figured it's close enough to what UBNT has certified and just registered them as NanoBridges (I'm pretty sure they do have the same FCCID).
